Job Opening 1: Support Technician
Responsibilities:
- Configure, install and maintain routers, Wi-Fi devices, Wi-Fi links, and other network and fibre equipment
- Provide exceptional customer support, addressing inquiries and resolving technical issues promptly
- Troubleshoot and diagnose network and fibre-related problems
- Follow company rules and regulations to ensure the quality and security of network infrastructure
- Collaborate with team members to optimize network performance and customer satisfaction
- Assist with network expansion projects and upgrades as needed
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an Internet Service Provider
- Strong understanding of networking and fibre technologies
- Proven ability to configure routers, Wi-Fi devices, Wi-Fi links, and other network equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Network+, etc.) are a plus
- Minimum education level: Grade 12 /N4 (Matric)
